👋 Who am I?

Hi, I'm Sohan Sourab — a passionate and curious (well, what not!!) aspiring AI engineer, journeying through this revolutionary era of artificial intelligence and its vast real-world applications.

I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Computer Science and Technology at GITAM Deemed University. With over two years into my academic journey, I've navigated through the foundations of CS and am now venturing deep into AI. (Fun fact: I chose the CSE-AIML specialization because my dad—who knows me better than anyone in this whole damn universe—thought it fit me best 🧠✨).

I strongly believe in failing forward rather than not trying at all. My goal is to work on meaningful projects that contribute real value to humanity, while continuously exploring and pursuing my purpose.

Alright, here's a peek into what I know (and what I’m picking up):

• 💬 Proficient English communicator

• 🧰 Tools: Git, GitHub — I understand version control!

• ⚙️ Used tools like n8n, AIGetic AI, and mainly work on VS Code
• 📓 Projects are documented using Jupyter Notebooks & Google Colab
• 🔁 Currently sharpening my DSA skills for better problem-solving

🚀 Projects

1. Anime Recommendation System
   For the anime community! Used large datasets from AniList and MyAnimeList to recommend anime tailored to user preferences.

2. ISL - Indian Sign Language Interpreter
   A hackathon project built with my team.
   Trained a CNN model to recognize hand gestures from Indian Sign Language and convert them into both text and audio outputs.
   The goal: make communication more accessible.

My dream is to work on Big Data and become a cosmologist, blending my passion for astronomy and computer science. I want to simulate the cosmos, study the universe, and build tools that decode the mysteries of reality using AI.
