VIRASAM – The Living Cultural Archive VIRASAM is a community-driven digital platform designed to preserve, share, and discover the rich cultural heritage of communities. It empowers users to document and maintain folk culture, traditions, local history, and traditional recipes through an interactive and AI-enhanced web application built on Streamlit and Supabase.

The platform combines modern technology with cultural preservation to enable global access, multilingual support, and community engagement. VIRASAM supports authentic storytelling and knowledge-sharing, fostering connections across generations and cultural groups.

Key features include intelligent AI-powered question answering, searchable cultural content, user authentication and contributions, and multimedia support — all aimed at safeguarding intangible cultural heritage for future generations.
