Ultimately, it turns dense, 500-page budget documents into clear, accessible insights to promote civic accountability.

The Image Captioning project is an AI-based system that automatically generates textual descriptions for images. It combines computer vision and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to understand the content of an image and produce a human-readable caption.

The system uses deep learning models, typically a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for extracting image features and a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) or Transformer-based model for generating sentences. This enables applications such as assisting visually impaired users, enhancing image search engines, and automating social media content tagging.

Gamanam — A Python Streamlit web application for sharing and exploring festivals, art, dance, and music. Users can create posts, view submissions from others, and interact with a cultural community. The app uses a SQLite database to store posts and user data.

Lens Feature (Food Recognition) – Users can upload or capture an image of a dish, and the AI will it and provide ingredients, recipe steps, and cultural context. AI Culinary Assistant – Interactive assistant to answer cooking-related questions, suggest dietary plans, offer substitutions, and guide users through cooking.

Project Title: Local Proverbs & Folk Wisdom Collector Description: A multilingual, AI-powered Streamlit app that collects local proverbs, sayings, and cultural wisdom from Indian communities. Built as part of the Summer of AI 2025 initiative to preserve linguistic and cultural diversity.

The Multi-Source Content Summarizer is an AI-powered web application that extracts and summarizes content from YouTube videos and websites. Translator is a real-time language translation application built using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). The app provides seamless language translation capabilities, allowing users to input text and receive translations instantly. It integrates the Gemini API for accurate and fast translations across multiple languages.

This project showcases two chatbot implementations: one using Hugging Face Transformers for building a general-purpose conversational AI, and another Indic-language chatbot powered by Dify.AI with Gemini integration for multilingual support.
