# THROB ALERT #
# THROB ALERT
# Introduction to project #
Throb Alert is the solution for the problems faced by people regarding their health .This device will get activate in case of a emergency and send alert message to nearby hospitals.
# PURPOSE OF PROJECT #
In our day-to-day life, we have been observing many accident cases where the victim is in helpless condition and couldn’t access the hospital, due to lack of availability or immediate access to hospital. As a result, people are loosing their lives Also, there are many missing cases being recorded or filed. Some of the cases are resolved but some results in tragedy and end up with death of victim.
Throb Alert is a smart gadget which can aid both the situations.
Throb Alert gadget will track the pulse and identify the GPS location and send the message to near by hospitals through GSM if the person is in danger. Also, when the person is kidnapped or in any danger, it will track his/her location when the person press emergency button and sends the message to Police stations near the victim’s location.

* Selecting the project by observing and identifying the problems present in the society.
* One of the most commonly observed problems which we identified is death of victim due to unavailability of hospitals nearby in case of accidents.

* Selecting the components according to the budget.
Resources used in our project:
* Arduino ide, which is user-friendly software for IoT developers.
* Debian OS(because it is open software and it maintains data privacy).
By using these tangible and intangible materials, we designed a smart device "Throb Alert".

# Working: #

# SITUATION - I #
1. Throb alert gajget contain Pulse Rate Sensor which will track the pulse rate of the person every second and if the abnormal condition of the person is detected, the buzzer gets activated.
2. CASE-1 :- If the pulse rate is abnormal due to other activities like exercise or stress, then the person can manually turn off the buzzer by pressing STOP button (indicating he is alright).
CASE-2 :- If the pulse is abnormal due to accident or heartstroke or other serious health issue and the person is in conscious condition but helpless, then the person can manually press GO button to send alert message to nearby hospitals (indicating that he is not alright and he needs help).
CASE-3 :- If the person is in unconcious state, then the person can’t press either GO or STOP button. In that case, after defined time period, device activates automatially and message is sent as mentioned above.
3. When the device gets activated, it sends the current location of the person (using GPS tracker) to NODE MCU-1, which is already connected to mobile hotspot.
4. The data which is collected by NODE MCU-1 is sent to NODE MCU-2, which is placed at home (it acts as server) by means of internet.
5. NODE MCU-2 will send the information to GSM.
6. Then GSM will send the alert message to hospitals which are near to victim's location.
# SIUTATION -II #
1. The gadget also contains emergency button which helps the person in case of danger situation.
2. In such case,(on pressing the button) GPS will track the location and send the information to NODE MCU-1 which is already connected to mobile hotspot.
3. NODE MCU-1 will send the information to NODE MCU-2 which is placed at home/at some fixed place by means of internet.
4. NODE MCU-2 will send the information to GSM.
5. Then GSM will send the message to the police station which is near by victim’s location.
# Conclusion: #
your life is a precious gift by god . so due to some unexpected situation in your life like road accidents,rash driving or if you are drunk n driving then most probably these cases leads to severe accidents.so,in oder to save your life,this throb alert will be so helpful and beneficial too.by this smart watch you can save your own life without anybody's help.
