Project Title: SOLAR ENERY - SOLAR POWERED IRRIGATION SYSTEM
School Name: ZPHS Gundla Pochampalli
Abstract: The main reason is that using the sun for irrigation represents a virtuous circle: when the sun shines, it feeds the irrigation system, well, we know that crops needs more water when the sun shines a lot. Therefore, a large quantity of energy is available when it is actually needed.
This project is a solar based automatic irrigation system. The main objective is to design an low cost and time based irrigation system with the help of microcontroller. Irrigation Scheduler measures various parameters such as humidity, temperature and soil moisture. This project we are using the new type of solar panel is used i.e.. Spin Cell, which produces 20 times more current than the traditional flat panels.
Solar-powered water pumping systems can find application in town water supply, livestock watering and irrigation. Solar-powered irrigation system is an application of solar-powered water pumping system used in paddy fields, gardens for watering the plants, vegetables, etc.
