Push-to-Talk Audio Breaks After Deleting and Re-recording
Description
When using the Push-to-Talk feature, the first audio recording works as expected and plays back clearly. However, if the recorded audio is deleted and a new recording is made, the newly recorded audio becomes choppy, distorted, or breaks during playback.
This issue appears only after deleting an existing recording and re-recording within the same session.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the Push-to-Talk feature.
- Record an audio message.
- Play the recording and verify it is clear.
- Delete the recorded audio.
- Record a new audio message.
- Play back the new recording.
Expected Behavior
The newly recorded audio should be recorded and played back with the same quality as the initial recording.
Actual Behavior
After deleting the first recording and recording again, the audio playback becomes broken/choppy and quality degrades.
Impact
Users who delete and re-record audio cannot obtain a clear recording, which affects the usability and reliability of the Push-to-Talk feature.
Notes
- First recording works correctly.
- Issue occurs only after deleting the existing recording and creating a new one.
- Appears to be related to the re-recording flow or audio stream reset after deletion.
