Getting Error : Package 'snap' is not installed, so not removed

Solution:
The package is not called snap, but instead is snapd.
You will want to do
nagamalli@debian:~$ sudo apt autoremove --purge snapd

Reading state information... Done

snapd*
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 1455 not upgraded.
